Water Rates & Policies

Listed below, you will find the Town of Braxton current water rates and policies. If you do not find the information you need, please contact our office and we will provide it for you. 

Our current water rates are:   $21.00 up to 2000 gallons,   $7.00 per thousand over 2000 gallons

Water Deposits:   $200.00 for renters,   $125.00 for owners  plus a $50 connection fee.

New line:  $450.00 tap fee 

Water bills are due by the 10th of each month, with water cutoff on the 11th.

Reconnect fee:  $100.00   

Payment for reconnect fee plus FULL bill is required to restore water.

Should you experience a problem with your water, please call the phone numbers provided. We will do everything possible to locate the problem with your water service.
